Zacks Cake, this is an interesting one as this combines elements that we wouldn’t typically expect to meld so well together. The nose is interesting, it’s sharp, there’s some dill pickle, herbs, savory notes with a faint background of a bakery. Overall it isn’t a powerful aroma but a nice one at that, it’s fitting for being a unique cultivar.

Buds are a very solid medium size, firm, not too sticky but quite kiefy. Colors range on Zacks cake from the most common green, purple, oranges to a more bland green, but there are also some very dark purple buds mixed in as well. Zacks cake isn’t a show winner in appearance, but she’s looking good overall. Cracking into the buds is where things get interesting! The grind puts out some lavender aromas, some fruits and a little bit of that herby nose as well. Flavors don’t quite match any of these aromas, we get coffee and some high-quality tobacco. This one is hard to describe!

Effects are of a well balanced hybrid. This one gets us focused and locked into tasks, motivating but not wound up. This is a great offering for any time of day and for any occassion!
