We have been overwhelmed with the positivity around our latest budget Greenhouse strains, so the hunt continued for budget-friendly, flavorful and effective flower. This run of Kush Mints OD (Out Door) starts with a “OK, so hear me out…” because the looks are certainly lacking – bigtime. Kush Mints is the Farm Truck of the lineup at Upstate, dented, sun-faded, and missing a hubcap, but it’ll haul two tons of whatever you need across the plains without breaking a sweat. This one will get you where you need to be without breaking the bank.

Opening the bag there is a very bready, minty sweet aroma – it’s nice, it’s very present and not muted. The buds are very large, some in the 2.5-3g range, with a lovely evergreen hue. Flavors are very nice as well – smooth pastries, musky greens and a typical “sun-grown” flavor. Effects creep and take a minute, hence the Farm Truck metaphor earlier – but when they arrive, it’ll come on strong. The effects hit the body hard and we feel them in the shoulders and spine. There’s a nice uplifting aspect to this as well.
